An orange seller got Padma Shri Award. Got call from Indian president .

 Hajabba harekala an 65 years old man who used to sell oranges in the Mangalore bus stand. He runs his family by selling oranges. One day when he was selling oranges a foreigner came to him and asked for the price of the orange. As he was illiterate he can't able to speak english other than kannada. He felt guilty that if I studied i may able to answer him. And he decided that he would build a school in his village. And no children should be uneducated.
So he started saving a little amount from which he earns by selling oranges. After few years he realised that the money which he saved Is not enough to build a school. He started to visit various business man and politicians for the fundraising of the construction of the school. many of them refused to give him and few of them appreciated him and donated money and a small cent of land to construct a school. When he started to construct the town panchayat refused to give him permission to build the school. After many struggles. He got approved and started to construct the school which contain 6 class rooms and a small play ground. He finally completed the construction by 2012. And the school function upto 5th standard. After few years he decided to extend the school upto secondary school. Again he asked the help from the politician and business man.
But this time he got immediate response and many people donated him. In few months he started to construct secondary school. upto class 10.
His work was appreciated by many people from all over the world. By 2020 he got Padma Shri Award For his work.
Hajabba said that while he was standing in a line at the ration shop. i received a phone call the woman speaks in Hindi And i can't understand Hindi so I gave the call to the auto driver. He said you have got Padma Shri Award. My eyes filled with tears i couldn't believe this as an uneducated man i have qualified to receive a honorable award.
His story inspired many and the people shocked by his work. he received appreciation from all over the world.
